Some managers and business leaders insist on regularly scheduled one-on-one strategy and mentoring meetings with subordinates, while others feel these to be minimally productive, and prefer full team sessions for the most effective communication. After many years on both sides of the management role, I much prefer the one-on-one approach, when done with personal focus.
