Employees can seamlessly switch between home and the office—connecting their laptops to USB-C-enabled monitors at various desks, which can be easily booked via an app.

Longney noted, “We’ve seen a noticeable increase in video meetings, thanks to the improved camera and microphone performance.” This flexibility allows employees to collaborate effectively, whether they are at home or on-site.
However, the technology upgrade extends beyond just hardware. AIA NZ implemented Lenovo Premier Support, ensuring 24/7 access to IT experts and expedited onsite service. According to Longney, “The device refresh was essential to the overall project, and Lenovo made the process seamless. In total, the initiative effectively managed approximately 491 kilograms of retired equipment, equating to the weight of a concert-spec grand piano.
