Cisco has also introduced a series of next-gen hardware designed specifically to support the demands of AI workloads. New smart switches, routers, and access points offer high capacity, low latency, and quantum-resistant security, which are essential for mission-critical applications. Devices like the C9350 and C9610 smart switches can handle up to 51.2 Tbps of throughput with below 5 microsecond latency, catering to the needs of high-stakes environments.
Another key feature is the AI-driven operational management capability known as AgenticOps. This tool draws on real-time data to facilitate automated, intelligent decision-making while keeping teams in control of their networks. The introduction of the Cisco AI Assistant and the new AI Canvas provides IT architects access to actionable insights on network status and workload management, reducing operational strain. Such functionality allows small business owners to optimize performance and respond swiftly to potential network issues.
For businesses navigating the security landscape, Cisco has embedded advanced safety measures directly into the architecture. Features like Cisco Live Protect and post-quantum-ready encryption safeguard network infrastructure and defend crucial data during transmission.
